The Indigo Informatics Competition is a free, original programming contest for pre-college students interested in competitive programming!
Indigo is run by a group of students from Carmel High School who want to share their passion for computer science with their community. We offer high quality, original, programming contests, organized completely by our high school team.
Our problems are USACO-style, and contestants have 2.5 hours to solve as many problems as they can! The contest is entirely virtual, meaning anyone can participate!
Indigo 2024 will be happening November 23rd, 2024, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM EST. Visit the Indigo 2024 tab for more info and to sign up!
Anybody can participate, regardless of home state/country! There are no restrictions on prizes.
We've designed the problems over a wide range of difficulties to accommodate many skill levels. If you're familiar with if-conditions, loops, strings, and integers, you can start solving problems!
All you need is a computer on which you can run the programming language of your choice, along with a stable Internet connection!
A team can have up to two people! Both members of a duo should fill out the sign-up form.
Nope! This contest is completely free.
Prize info can be found under the Indigo 2024 tab!
There will be 10 questions of varying difficulty. If you're familiar with the USA Computing Olympiad exam, our problems will range from Bronze to Gold/early Platinum.
